Marlborough

Marlborough makes up the north-eastern tip of the South Island of New Zealand. The biggest of the three major wine regions, Marlborough is home of some of the best Sauvignon Blanc produced in the world. A unique style onto its own, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc mixes intense tropical and citrus fruits with strong herbecousness and minerality. There has been an increase in Pinot Noir production in recent years, now making it the second most widely planted grape in the region before Chardonnay and Riesling.
