Bodegas Briego Alberto y Benito is a traditional winery founded in the 1960s.  Today brothers Fernando, Gaspar and Javier Bentio Hernando continue the tradtion their father started cultivating 70 hectares of vines with an average age of 60 years.  The Gran Riserva first ages for 24 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels and is then rests another 3 years before its release.
