Originally founded by Jacques Chauveau (Jacques's son Daniel took over the property in 1959), today the property consists of 10 hectares of vines, under the leadership of grandson Christophe, situated on the clayey-limestone hillsides just outside of the village of Cravant-les-Côteaux. Christophe produces both red and rosé Chinon wines.
